August seasonal – Sundew

Summery flavours of melon, lemon and lime are what drinkers can expect from our August seasonal – Sundew.

Our latest seasonal is named after the rare flower that grows in the heart of our Broadland home and captures the very best of summer flavours.

The 4.1% golden ale is brewed with Ekuanot and Huell Melon hops to give it a vibrant and fruity character.

Notes beer fans can expect include tropical fruit, citrus and pithy orange, alongside hints of strawberry, honeydew and apricot.

Aaron Taubman, our Head Brewer, said Sundew is the perfect session beer to enjoy in the summer sunshine.

He added: “There are few better things than a pint in the summer sunshine, especially when that pint has been brewed with summery flavours in mind.

“This is a vibrant and fruity beer that really is full of character and is perfect for a summer session.

“As always, we love to feature our Norfolk home in the beers we create – and Sundew is no different with its nod to the rare Broadland flower.

“The stories behind our beers are just one thing that make us the Beer of Norfolk.”

Woodforde’s fans will be no strangers to Sundew as it regularly makes its return to our seasonal range every year at the height of the Norfolk summer.
