Cask Albion cream stout - October seasonal
As the temperatures begin to drop this autumn, now is the perfect time to savour our darker beers.
For a limited-time, Woodforde’s Brewery’s Albion cream stout is now available in cask. Why wait?
The distinctive and mouth-watering beer perfectly balances chocolatey and rich fruit flavours to create a worthy addition to your bar.
Albion is crafted with a combination of English hop strains including Goldings, Challenger and Jester. The hops provide an indulgent mix of tropical and spicy flavours to earthy notes.
The result? A truly English stout which will see you set sail on a flavourful experience you won’t want to end.
Named after a 125-year-old Norfolk Wherry boat, Albion is a celebration of Norfolk’s rich sailing history. Also known as a ‘black sailed trader’, the Woodforde’s beer is as dark as the sails which still ride the tide of The Broads to this day.
Albion is Woodforde’s Brewery’s first stout, which has proved exceptionally popular. Usually brewed for keg and bottle, the cask-conditioned version for October’s seasonal brings out the best flavour and aromas from the hops.
It is one of the brewing team’s favourites. In fact, they are confident it will make people give a wide berth to other stouts.
Our Brewing Manager, Bruce Ash, said: “This delicious 4.2% stout is the perfect combination of enticing aromas and indulgent flavours.
“Woodforde’s is no stranger to receiving compliments for the beers we craft, and Albion is certainly a popular one.
“This cask seasonal is the perfect way to greet the autumn season. It’s so moreish!”
