Woodforde's 'Goal'den Ale for the Euros

Woodforde’s are backing the Three Lions to EURO 2024 victory with the unveiling of our latest special, Lionheart.

The popular football-themed special is making a return for one month only as Gareth Southgate’s men look to better their second-placed finish in 2021.

A celebration of English ingredients, the 4% ‘goal’den ale has an orange pine aroma complemented by a crisp, zesty flavour – making for the perfect tipple to enjoy while watching England bring it home.

While football might mean something different to our American Head Brewer Aaron Taubman, he’ll certainly be cheering on Kane and Co with a pint of his newest creation in hand.

He said: “It is great to bring back this classic seasonal for another limited run.

“We have made a few changes to the recipe and were keen to champion the best of English malts and hops in this lighter, easy drinking brew.

“I’ve lived in England long enough now to know how much you all love your football – and will proudly be backing the Three Lions on their march to victory.”

As with all our specials, Lionheart will exclusively be available to pubs in cask and for a limited time only.

Firkins are already rolling out of our Woodbastwick brewery at a pace faster than Kyle Walker – so pubs will have to act quick to get their hands on a barrel.
