April Seasonal Harlequin

An innovative cask ale is arriving in pubs this month – and the advent of this Harlequin is definitely no April fool.

Our latest seasonal ale, Harlequin, is now available for on-trade customers, but will disappear with a hop, skip and a jump if you’re not quick enough.

Brewed using the finest British-grown Harlequin hops, Harlequin boasts distinctive peach and lychee aromas complemented by grapefruit and melon flavours.

Combined with Caramalt and Munich malts, the 4% golden beer has a smooth malty taste and is balanced with a firm bitterness that together with its harmonious blend of hops makes for a deliciously moreish sip.

Harlequin is the brainchild of our multi-award-winning Head Brewer, Aaron Taubman.

He said: “Harlequin is an exciting seasonal that captures the very best of British-grown hops.

“The combination of malts has really added to the flavour of the beer and given it a distinct character that I’m sure will make it popular among our customers.

“Coming up with new seasonals like this is really exciting and showcases the skillset we have here in the brewery team.

“All of us are looking forward to following on the success of Harlequin with another seasonal offering in May.”
