WOODFORDE’S BREWERY ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH NORFOLK CRICKET BOARD

Woodforde’s Brewery are proud to announce our new sponsorship of Norfolk’s Over 40s Social Cricket League.

The new partnership comes as we look to extend our partnerships with sports clubs and organisations within East Anglia, as part of our ambitious plans for growth.

This new partnership will see both the Norfolk Cricket Board (NCB) and Woodforde’s Brewery create an environment for people to come together, play some cricket and enjoy a sociable drink afterwards.

The Over 40s competition was formed in 2014 with nine teams and has gone from strength to strength. Now in its 11th year, 21 teams will compete throughout the 2024 summer in three regional competitions.

James Sneddon, one of our Business Development Managers, said: “We are thrilled to be joining up with the NCB for the season ahead.

“Our brewery sits in the heart of Norfolk so we are proud to support local cricket, united over our shared passion for the game.

“We are proud to support local sports teams in the area and would love to speak to more clubs about stocking Woodforde’s beers so teams can catch up with a proper Norfolk pint after their big match.”

The partnership is the latest in a series of similar relationships we hold with sports organisations in the county, including Norwich City Football Club, Wroxham Football Club, Royal Norwich Golf Club and Norfolk Rugby Football Union.
