West Coast Wherry
July's seasonal is here!
It’s time to introduce our latest seasonal cask beer – and this one’s perfect for the summer months!
Throughout July, there’s the chance to take a trip to the West Coast of the United States. But don’t worry, there’s no flight costs with this offer! This month, our seasonal cask beer is the thirst-quenching West Coast Wherry.
Brewed with our favourite Maris Otter malt, harvested in Norfolk itself, blended with a light crystal, cara and chocolate malt, West Coast Wherry is a wonderfully light amber beer. Our recipe uses nine varieties of hops - including American Amarillo, Citra and Cascade - creating a fresh and zesty experience.
West Coast Wherry is cask conditioned to bring out the absolute best from the hops we use – making the sunshine ale a great twist on our famous Wherry. Instead of the regular aroma hops our customers love about Wherry, we have replaced them with a combination of America’s finest.
Up to now, West Coast Wherry has only been available in our 52 Degrees North range of cans and kegs – but now you can have a pint of this delicious brew straight from the cask.
Our Head Brewer, Bruce Ash, said: “This seasonal beer is a must try. It provides a massive twist for regular Wherry drinkers who want to try something different.
“We combined the finest ingredients from the UK and the States to create this fine amber. People will be disappointed if they miss this.
“It’s certainly moreish!”
West Coast Wherry is a 4.2% American Amber, bringing together the best of Britain and America. It’s a sunshine session ale bringing new tastes to savour though those golden summer months that go too fast...
But don’t take our word for it – visit your local and try it for yourself!
