Woodforde’s ‘try-umphant’ beer launched ahead of Six Nations return
Woodforde’s Brewery are excited to launch their popular grand slam seasonal with a new, improved recipe in time for the Six Nations.
We are pleased to unveil our new recipe for Tap & Go ahead of the tournament’s first match between France and Ireland on Friday, 2 February.
The 4% ale has always been a popular addition during major international tournaments – with 2024 set to be even better thanks to the addition of new hops and malts to the recipe.
James Ramm, our Head of Sales, said: “The new Tap & Go is a light and easy drinking English ale that is sure to be a hit with our customers.
“This brew has a silky mouthfeel with resinous, herbal and orange marmalade aromas. Finished with a clean firm bitterness.
“We’ve kept the recipe simple while making sure we still deliver a flavourful punch.
“There’s no better way to kick off the return of the Six Nations than with a pint of Tap & Go. We’re confident it will be a try-umph for your bar.”
“We are all big rugby fans here at Woodforde’s and love having the chance to demonstrate our love for the game through our beer.
“Here’s to another fantastic tournament.”
