Promoter

The promoter is Woodforde's Brewery Ltd ("the Promoter"), registered office: Slad Lane, Woodbastwick, Norfolk, NR13 6SW.

Promotion Period

The promotion opens on 22 July 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 16 September 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

Eligibility

The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize awarded. Entry into the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Employees of Woodforde's Brewery Ltd, Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages, their associated companies, agencies, suppliers, and anyone professionally connected with the promotion, together with members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

To enter, scan the QR code featured in pub promotional materials for Wherry and complete the online entry form.

No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to enter.

Only one entry per email address is permitted unless otherwise stated on promotional materials.

All entries must be submitted personally by the entrant. Bulk entries, entries submitted by third parties, consumer groups or trade organisations, incomplete entries, illegible entries, and entries generated by automated means will not be accepted.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who uses fraudulent means, automated systems, multiple identities, manipulated IP addresses, scripts, bots, or any other method intended to circumvent the fair operation of the promotion.

General Competition Terms

The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the promotion or who breaches these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, misdirected, incomplete, or cannot be delivered due to technical failures or any other reason beyond its reasonable control.

Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or technical issues which may affect entry, winner selection, notification, or prize fulfilment.

Winner Selection

All prizes will be awarded by random draw from all eligible entries received during the promotion period using an independently administered random selection process.

The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winners will be notified via the email address supplied at the time of entry on the 11th December.

If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within seven (7) days of notification, is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, or is otherwise unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility where a winner is unable to take up a prize.

Prizes – Grand Prize

One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected.

The Grand Prize consists of a seven (7) night stay for up to four (4) people in a luxury North Norfolk holiday cottage courtesy of Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages, with an estimated prize value of £5,000.

The winner may choose from eligible Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages properties, subject to availability at the time of booking.

The holiday must be taken between Friday 5 March 2027 and Friday 25 June 2027, excluding stays commencing between 26 March 2027 and 12 April 2027 inclusive.

All stays are based on Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages' standard booking pattern of Friday-to-Friday.

Bookings are strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed on specific dates or at specific properties.

The prize includes accommodation only unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter.

Travel, food and drink, excursions, insurance, fuel, parking, spending money and all other personal expenses are excluded and remain the responsibility of the winner and their guests.

The winner must book directly with Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages using the contact details provided following prize acceptance.

A refundable £250 damage deposit will be required at the time of booking to Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages. This deposit will be refunded after departure provided the property is left in an acceptable condition and in accordance with Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages' booking conditions.

An adult aged 25 years or over must be present at the property for the full duration of the stay.

No stag parties, hen parties or similar group celebrations are permitted.

Subletting of the accommodation is strictly prohibited.

Pets may be permitted subject to the individual property's rules and Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages' booking conditions. A maximum of two well-behaved pets per property is permitted where applicable.

Guests must comply with all Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages property rules, including those relating to smoking, guest conduct, occupancy limits, care of the property and departure requirements.

If the selected property becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages, reasonable efforts will be made to offer alternative accommodation of a similar standard in the local area.

The Grand Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

Prizes – Secondary Prizes

Six (6) secondary prize winners will be selected.

Each secondary prize bundle will contain:

8 x 500ml bottles of Wherry Amber Ale

1 x Wherry T-Shirt

2 x Woodforde's Brewery Tour Vouchers

1 x Wherry branded glass

Secondary prize winners will be notified by email on the 11th December.

Secondary prizes will be dispatched within seven (7) days of prize acceptance where reasonably practicable.

General Prize Conditions

All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, amend, cancel or withdraw the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Publicity and Winner Information

The Promoter may publish or make available the surname and county of the Grand Prize winner in order to demonstrate that a valid award has taken place.

Anyone wishing to obtain this information should email marketing@woodfordes.com within one month of the promotion closing.

If a winner objects to their surname and county being published, they should notify the Promoter when accepting the prize. In such circumstances, the Promoter may still be required to provide information to regulatory authorities upon request.

Winners may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion, including photography, interviews, website content and social media activity. Participation will only occur with the winner's prior consent.

Data Protection

Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and the Promoter's Privacy Policy, available at:

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Woodforde's Brewery Ltd, Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages, nor their agents, suppliers or distributors shall be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance of any prize, except where caused by their negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and entrants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
