‘Hazy Explorer’ unveiled as June Brewer Signature

The Woodforde’s brewing team have explored hazy new waters with the arrival of this month’s Brewer Signature, Hazy Explorer.

More than 30 years of brewing experience have been packed into this flavourful pint by its mastermind, our Deputy Head Brewer Craig Bennett.

The 5% Columbus Hazy IPA captures two of Craig’s greatest loves – hazy beers and New England IPAs – and promises bold tropical and citrussy flavours.

He said: “Hazy Explorer is a big bodied, soft bitterness, rounded beer with lots and lots of tropical, juicy, fruity character.

“I love the soft juicy palette and the hazy, cloudiness of the beer. I love the fact it looks like liquid lemon curd in a glass.

“It’s just got so much character to it.”

Hazy Explorer is the latest in our series of Brewer Signatures – a chance for members of the Woodforde’s team to develop their own unique brews.

Crafting up exciting, bold and flavourful creations has proven a breeze with the experience and love for bold new flavours throughout the team.

That’s especially true with Craig’s rich history in the trade.

Craig added: “I’ve been passionate about beer since my teenage years, when my mum and dad let me get a homebrew kit.

“I’ve been brewing for over 30 years now and still love it.”
